Wishes for peace abound this time of year. As the new year comes and the season fades, it's easy to lose that feeling and go back to things as they are.
For peace to take root, flourish and expand, it's got to be a continuum and a journey. Not a destination or bump in the road. The origins of peace reside in kindness. In the willingness and ability to be genuinely kind in our interactions with both ourselves and our others.
Without kindness, how can there be peace?
